Our Commitment
RealEstateReportReady (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This tool helps title and escrow teams evaluate reportability under the FinCEN Residential Real Estate rule. We collect minimal data necessary to provide the service and intentionally do not collect transaction-level identifiers such as property addresses, social security numbers, or identity documents in this product flow.
Information You Provide
- Checker selections: The transaction characteristics you select when running a reportability determination (buyer type, financing, property type, exemptions).
- Email address: If you request a PDF determination report, we collect your email to deliver it.
- Checkout metadata: If you purchase a product, Stripe collects payment information directly. We receive order confirmation details for fulfillment.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and time on site.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
- IP address: Used for rate limiting and security. Not stored permanently.
How We Use Your Information
- To run reportability determinations and generate results
- To send you requested PDF determination reports via email
- To fulfill product purchases and deliver digital kits
- To improve our service and fix issues
- To prevent abuse and maintain security through rate limiting
Data Storage
We use Google Cloud Platform (Firestore) for data storage, which provides enterprise-grade security and encryption at rest. Determination records and subscriber data are retained only as needed for delivery, operations, and legal obligations.
Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for site functionality, session management, and security (CSRF protection, rate limiting).
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. You can opt out using browser settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookie and analytics behavior is region-aware. Where explicit consent is required, non-essential tracking is gated until consent choices are recorded.
